If you happen to stumble upon this site, I just wanted to inform you that I have moved away from Brussels last year. I will reply to comments and queries (if I see them, which I generally do), but probably will not post here for the time being.

I still keep it open, as some of the info could still be useful.

And have fun cycling in Belgium!

    Hi,
Great blog and a pity it’s no longer maintained. I just started my own Brussels cyclingblog: http://cyclingbrussels.blogspot.be/
    Cheers

    Hi there!

My brother and I will be coming to Belgium at the beginning of October (around October 1st or 2nd). We have been dreaming up a bicycle trip from Brussels to Paris and we were very excited when we came across this blog.

We want to keep it as simple as possible, and we’re trying to determine the best way to go about it. We aren’t extremely serious cyclists, so we are trying to keep it basic but get something good enough for a 300km ride over the course of a few days.

We’re trying to decide whether to rent bikes or buy them and resell them in Paris. The problem with renting would be returning them… The problem with buying them would be trying to resell them in such a time crunch… Any general advice/thoughts you have on this kind of trip would be much appreciated.

All the best from Los Angeles!

    Hi,

Great blog. Just wanted to say thanks for building it and keeping it open in your absence.

I’m a brussels resident and newbie to cycling. Just did one of your short routes from Sint-Pieters to Halles to Lembeek and back. Fantastic. Beautiful countryside and gave me a taste for further exploration of Pajottaland!

    All best,

    Neil
